The MD2000 is a hand-held metal detector, suitable for all Arms in all Theatres of Operation. It is particulary suitable for police EOD and IEDD operations and is the original, multi- role man portable instrument for the detection of ferrous and non- ferrous objects.

The MD2000 equipment into standard, full pack form is supplied with search probes in addition to the conventional halo. A short pack form may be specified in which the probes are omitted.
