Well-established range of Hippo brand fenders designed to enable safe ship-to-quay and ship-to-ship berthing operations.  The use of closed cell foams for the fender core, which have high compressive strengths, results in an ability to absorb a great deal of energy during operation. This is complemented by low reaction forces, making berthing operations easier - especially in difficult conditions.  The products are made from closed-cell, thermolaminated polyethylene cores, which are then coated in thick, protective yet flexible marine grade polyurethane. The result is extremely hard-wearing equipment, which is virtually unsinkable and requires very little ongoing maintenance – providing a very good return on investment over the extended lifetime of these products.

The fenders are unsinkable even if damaged beyond repair. This feature gives the operator great peace of mind when it comes to ensuring both ships and berthing facilities are protected at all times. These foam fenders are designed to be virtually maintenance-free.
