BULKSAFE™ is a permanent water ingress detection system for bulk carriers designed in compliance with IACS regulation UR S24 for bulk carriers. The system comprises of a central BULKSAFE™ control and alarm panel interfacing with our MMS300 stainless steel float switches installed at the bottom of each cargo hold. MMS300 float switches are intrinsically safe simple devices and are configured in a fail-safe circuit for complete operator confidence. Sealed to IP68 for complete integrity, the devices require no routine maintenance. 

The BULKSAFE™ panel provides indication of an alarm condition by means of a red LED for each cargo hold, together with a local alarm buzzer. Additionally the BULKSAFE™ provides 4 programmable relay contacts for external alarm annunciation with comprehensive fault monitoring. All system components are marine approved.
