DELTIC PRIVACY POLICY

 1.       Privacy statement

The Deltic Group Inc.("Deltic") is committed to respecting personal privacy. We recognize and respect every individual's right to privacy and acknowledge our obligation to preserve the confidentiality of personal information. This Privacy Policy applies to Deltic in its collection, use and disclosure of personal information in the course of its commercial activities. .

This Privacy Policy sets out our policy on the gathering and use of personal information on this site and our other sites (collectively "Sites"). Deltic is committed to providing safe web sites for visitors of all ages and has implemented this Privacy Policy to demonstrate our firm commitment to your privacy. Deltic complies with Canadian Federal and the Province of Ontario privacy laws and regulations including the Personal Information and Electronic Documents Act.

Deltic does not collect, use, or disclose personal information except for the purposes of conducting its business of providing information, products, and services to its prospective or actual customers. Deltic reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy at any time, and such modifications shall be effective immediately, unless otherwise provided.

Deltic is also responsible for personal information that has been transferred to a third party for processing. We may transfer personal information to third parties for reasons such as redirecting a request for information to one of its affiliated partner companies and/or equipment manufacturers, but only in such cases where the third party is known to have an established privacy policy comparable to that of Deltic and meeting local jurisdictional requirements.

Deltic's policies and practices that give effect to the principles and procedures in this Privacy Policy, include:

(a) procedures to protect personal information;

(b) procedures to receive and respond to complaints and inquiries; and

(c) training staff and communicating to staff information about Deltic 's policies and practices.

Deltic will monitor compliance with the policies and procedures in this Privacy Policy on an ongoing basis.

 Deltic collects, uses, and discloses personal information in accordance with all applicable laws and the following principles, which reflect the principles articulated in Canadian privacy legislation.

It does not include business contact information relating to an employee of an organization.

 4.     The Collection of Personal Information

Personal Information is information about you that identifies you as an individual, for example, your name, affiliation, address, e-mail address, and/or telephone number.nGenerally, you are not required to provide personal information as a condition of using our Sites, except as may be necessary to provide you with a product or service that you have requested.

We collect information that you voluntarily provide to us through forms that you might complete to request further information or via email or via telephone. We may ask you to provide information such as your name, affiliation, address, telephone number and e-mail address if you want to obtain additional information. Providing this information is taken as your implied consent to use the information as described within this privacy policy.

  5.     How does Deltic use Information gathered about Online Visitors?

Before forwarding us any personal information, please be advised that any information gathered on our Sites may be used in the aggregate for research and development relating to our Sites and/or for future site development and, if you ask us to, to send you promotional materials. In particular, we may use information gathered about you for the following purposes: to monitor interest in our range of products and to assist us to tailor the content of our Sites to your needs by collecting information about your preferences through tracking of page views on our Sites; and, in circumstances where you have indicated that you wish to receive additional information, to send you information about us and promotional material about our products together with details of any offers we may have available from time to time.

  6.     Promotional and Informational Offers

With the permission of an online visitor, information submitted at the time of submission of a form or email requesting further information may be used for marketing and promotional purposes by Deltic provided notice of this fact is made available online. If a visitor objects to such use for any reason, he/she may prevent that use, either by e-mail request or by commenting to this effect on any submitted Request for Information form. Deltic uses reasonable efforts to maintain visitors' information in a secure environment.   7.     Disclosure of Information

Deltic will not disclose personal information that you provide on its Sites to any third parties other than to a company employee or those of an affiliate company except: i) in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy, or ii) to comply with legal requirements such as a law, regulation, warrant, subpoena, or court order. Deltic, in common with many web site operators, may use standard technology called "cookies" on its Sites. You can disable cookies by turning them off in your browser; however, some areas of the Sites may not function properly if you do so.

Deltic considers the protection of children's privacy, especially online, to be of the utmost importance. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children, or to request information through our Sites. If we discover that a child under 16 has provided us with Personal Information, we will promptly delete such Personal Information from our systems.

           10.1     Our Commitment to Security

We have put in place physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data security, and correctly use the information we collect online or by any other means. Deltic applies security safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, such as retaining information in secure facilities and making personal information accessible only to authorized employees on a need-to-know basis. Deltic’s privacy policy is distributed to all employees and supplemented by related training where appropriate.

Deltic will take reasonable measures to protect all personal information against loss or theft as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification by security safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.

           10.3 Electronic Storage of Information:

Personal or other information you share with us is stored on our secure database servers in Canada.

If we alter our Privacy Policy, any changes will be posted on this page of our Site so that you are always informed of the information we collect about you, how we use it and the circumstances under which we may disclose it.
